Tanorexia(n) - a condition defined by a pathological need to tan one's skin, especially the face, either through the use of direct sunlight, UV tanning booths, tanning creams, or spray-tan salons. Jan's browned skin and leather-like visage was the result of years of tanorexia. Tanorexic (adj) describes a person who exhibits the symptoms of tanorexia.
